Keeping data current
INSURAiLABS is only as current as the data feeding it. This chapter explains how each source updates and what, if anything, you need to do.
How each source updates
| Source | How it updates | Your action | How to check it is current |
|---|---|---|---|
| QuickBooks Online | Connected; syncs automatically | Keep classes mapped (Class Mapping) | As of date on Always-On P&L; latest dates in Transactions |
| HubSpot | Connected; syncs deals, contacts and owners | Make pipeline changes in HubSpot | Recently changed deals appear in Deal Pipeline |
| EZLynx | Updated from EZLynx export files | Export the agreed reports on schedule and pass them to the person who loads them | Renewal dates and new policies appear in Active Book and Renewal Hub |
| Carrier statements | Uploaded by your finance team | Upload each statement on arrival | Last Stmt date in the Financial Ops header |
Refresh EZLynx data (current process)
- In EZLynx, run the reports your implementation team set up for INSURAiLABS (policies, accounts and renewals).
- Export them in the agreed file format without changing columns.
- Pass the files to your INSURAiLABS administrator or implementation contact, who loads them into the platform.
- After loading, open Book & Renewals › Active Book and Renewal Hub and spot-check a few recently changed policies.
Good to know
Agree a fixed schedule (for example every weekday morning) for EZLynx exports. If a refresh is missed, renewals, cross-sell and commission expectations will be out of date until the next file is loaded.
Coming soon
- Your agency gets a dedicated INSURAiLABS email address. Schedule the EZLynx reports to be emailed there and they are checked, loaded and reflected across the platform automatically — no manual uploads.
- Files that fail checks are held for review instead of changing your data, and your administrator is told why.
- A data-freshness indicator on every screen and an integration health page for administrators.
